NATO Leaders’ Meeting, 2019

Identity was proud to once again work with the FCO, this time delivering the NATO Leaders’ Meeting which was held at The Grove in London.

This year’s meeting was unique as it commemorated the 70th anniversary of the Alliance and was the first to be held in London since 1990.

To facilitate the presence of over 3,000 on-site, the main summit, bilateral meetings and substantial global press coverage, several large temporary structures were designed and erected on the grounds of The Grove.

The temporary structures would help create two dedicated areas to complement the facilities of The Grove. The structures within the Walled Garden hosted the World Leaders and Diplomats, while the Media Centre was located behind the hotel and provided over 1,500 members of the press including broadcasters with a dedicated space to work from.

Additional meeting rooms and press areas were created by converting and adapting several rooms in the hotel which was still operational during the build phase of the project.

The entirety of the build lasted three months and was both fully managed and delivered by Identity.
