Google Networking Reception
The Brief
The Google Cloud Platform, offered by Google, is a suite of cloud computing services that runs on the same infrastructure that Google uses internally for its end-user products, such as Google Search, Gmail and YouTube.
Google Cloud wanted to host a relaxed and informal networking and reception evening for an invited list of their Google Cloud Healthcare & Life Sciences’ clients and team, set within a premium and unique London venue that complemented Google’s gravitas and cool. Alongside sourcing this venue, there was a requirement to deliver engaging activities for the guests whilst at the event, who would enjoy informal, buffet-style food and drinks hospitality.
Identity worked with Google Cloud to deliver an exclusive networking event with a difference.
Deliverables & Highlights
Identity sourced and delivered the event at ArcelorMittal Orbit in London, a 114.5-metre-high sculpture and observation tower in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in Stratford, London. Featuring exquisite views of the London skyline and the world’s longest tunnel slide, the venue was an undeniable talking point.
In line with Google’s innovation-centred reputation, guests were treated to an evening of entertainment and education in this unique and innovative setting, which featured engaging talks from Googlers and exciting display stations of molecular gastronomy and mixology, boasting delicious canapes, buffet food and cocktails, all with a scientific theme.
The Results
Identity provided a full turnkey solution for this exciting occasion, including AV (sound, screen and lighting), production assistance with graphics, wayfinding signage and floral displays, greeters and registration team, to ensure that the evening was both highly enjoyable and a uniquely ‘Google’ experience.
Attendees enjoyed an informative, engaging and remarkable evening that took full advantage of the stunning location and venue. The client was delighted with the end result.
