For over twenty years Identity has focused on leading the live events sector with creativity, digital development, full in-house production facilities and a logistics team that stretches around the globe. In 2019 alone, Identity was responsible for delivering the biggest and most high profile events in the UK which included the NATO Leaders’ Meeting, the Global Conference for Media Freedom, the Get Ready for Brexit campaign; the largest deployment of personnel ever for a UK campaign and winning the Norwegian participation in Expo 2020 – the largest event ever held in the UAE.
By constantly pushing the creative and innovative boundaries Identity has continued to grow international sales and expand its enviable client base in the live events sector. It achieved a ranking in the latest Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 – the league table that ranks the top 100 British companies with the fastest growing sales.
On Thursday 15th October, Identity was presented with the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. It was a truly momentous day for the team at Identity, welcoming the Lord-Lieutenant of East Sussex for the presentation. The visit included an official reading of the Grant of Appointment by the Deputy Lieutenant and the presentation of the beautiful crystal trophy by the Lord-Lieutenant.
“I am delighted that Identity has been deemed a worthy recipient of this prestigious award. It is widely considered to be the highest accolade to be bestowed upon a UK business.” said Michael Gietzen, Identity Managing Director. “It is truly an honour and I want to acknowledge the tremendous efforts of the entire team at Identity, our suppliers and our clients who have made this possible.”
