Formula E, officially the ABB FIA Formula E Championship, is a class of auto racing that uses only electric-powered cars. Identity have been engaged through London agency Avantgarde to produce two experiential touring rigs which will follow the Formula E Motorsport tour around 12 global destinations including Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Hong Kong and New York to name a few. The touring rigs are called Formula E World and is the hub that Formula E have produced to inform spectators of the technology and history involved with the racing series. Amongst the rig, zones have been created to for different interests of the attendees, which Identity, alongside Avantgarde have built and installed and provided all the logistics of the tour, including installing an LED suspended ring with wall TV’s and interactive elements, and will continue to tour with the client for the remainder of the locations.
