The Exhibition

Every year at PLASA the best of the best from the entertainment technology industry exhibit, here are some of our favourites from the show.

Robe

PLASA’s platinum sponsor Robe always have a stand out exhibit and this year was no exception. Robe manufactures innovative, high quality moving lights and digital lighting products which are distributed to over 100 countries across all continents. Their products can be found on stages, in concert halls and TV studios all over the world.

The eye-catching stand included a jungle theme backdrop, a waterfall feature and a giant stone face stage entrance which they had christened Freddy. To effectively showcase their lighting products, and to announce of their new SuperSpikie light, Robe held a performance on its stand every hour, resulting in an energetic and exciting Jumanji-meets-Tomb-Raider style show to wow and entertain attendees. Check out the video below to see some of the performance!

Yamaha

Yamaha Corporation is a Japanese multinational corporation which sells and manufactures a very wide range of high-quality products and services. Products predominantly consist of music instruments including pianos, wind, string and percussion instruments as well as the sale of audio equipment and information, and telecommunication equipment.

Yamaha’s stand followed a bold Japanese theme, featuring a traditional shoji door exterior, cherry blossom trees and a waterfall rig in the centre of the stand. Through sight and sound attendees were drawn to the booth and it proved popular over the event.

Held at Olympia London each year, PLASA Show is a must-attend event for anyone in the entertainment technology and AV industry. Identity thoroughly enjoyed speaking and visiting this year and look forward to participating in the future!
