Identity, a leading live events agency, is the main sponsor of the MEI Major Events Summit 2020.

For the first time ever, the annual flagship sports and events summit will be transformed into a virtual event, taking place throughout the week which begins on the 6th July and ends on the 12th. The event incorporates live streams, pre-recorded content and networking opportunities for the global sporting events community.

Supported by leading event technology, this year’s virtual summit will span far beyond the UK, circumventing Covid-19 restrictions and delivering a valuable experience to delegates around the world.

Toby Havord, Experiential Director at Identity, said: “Becoming a part of the MEI team and sponsoring this landmark event is a fantastic opportunity for us. The ability to engage effectively with the business of sports, sport event organisers and suppliers from around the world as well as share insights into the explosion of interest in esports among other discussions is very exciting. The announcement that the summit will also be recorded and made available will ensure it provides value and insight to delegates long after the event has concluded.”

Andy Rice, COO at Major Events International, organisers of the summit added: “We are delighted to welcome Identity to our roster of sponsors. They bring incredible digital expertise an extensive network of clients and contacts alongside a level of creative input that will only enhance the event. Sports events are keen to learn from best-of-breed corporate event producers – and there are few better in the business than Identity.”

Identity is one of the UK’s leading live events and digital experience agencies. A master at adapting under the current global situation, Identity thrives on innovation, adapting live experiences through creative technology and amplifying this through strategic content engines.
