We are looking for a Sales Executive with the drive and passion to generate new business leads and opportunities in order to meet business targets. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of our diverse, talented organisation at an exciting time of growth and innovation.

Identity is a hybrid experience agency with 20 years’ experience delivering pioneering solutions for governments and global brands including Apple, Google, New Balance and Formula E and specialising in outstanding live events for clients such as Siemens, Huawei, Harley-Davidson, Royal Navy, RAF and UK government.

You’ll join a growing, friendly team of over 80 skilled people in a dynamic, creative and supportive environment with opportunities for UK and international travel.

In this exciting, client-facing role you will:

  • Self-develop and nurture own prospect base
  • Develop prospect opportunities and bring live briefs into the business
  • Identify and develop relationships with key business influencers and stakeholders
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities in line with the Identity product offering
  • Position Identity as a leading provider of hybrid event services within the UK and abroad
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of company products and services
  • Keep abreast of competition, competitive issues, and products related to events sector
  • Monitor industry developments relating to potential business opportunities
  • To attend trade event and explore sales opportunities
  • To make at least 10 outbound sales enquires per day for new business opportunities across email, phone or zoom
  • Cold call to arrange meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business
  • Develop and managing a sales funnel of active opportunities
  • Attend conferences and forums to increase the reach of the organisation within key networks
  • Be autonomous and responsible for your own working day, booking appointments with prospects to suit your own diary
  • Be completely comfortable with the internal Identity working processes

What you’ll bring:

You are highly motivated, and results driven individual, with a keen eye for an opportunity. You have a good grasp of all disciplines within the live events sector and proactively seek out opportunities. You demonstrate a good understanding of business practice and principles and are easily able to adopt a holistic approach to selling all of our core services to both domestic and international markets.

Demonstrable experience in:

  • Outbound selling multiple products or services
  • Understanding and generating new business pipeline

 Exceptional skills in:

  • Showing market intelligence and strategic sales positioning
  • Nurturing target sectors
  • Converting opportunities to briefs
  • Networking
  • Management of a CRM system

The ability to:

  • Send new enquires to the right stakeholders within the business in a timely manner
  • Interact with clients at different levels and across functions, managing expectations and ensuring satisfaction
  • Not let warm leads ever go cold
  • Provide input into the development of documentation for sales collateral and support activities

Knowledge, enjoyment and understanding of:

  • CRM systems including Pipedrive or Salesforce
  • a commercial environment and of delivering commercially viable projects
