Digital Coordinator

The Digital Coordinator is responsible for providing support in the delivery of digital projects from concept to live, working collaboratively with the Identity team, including the Digital Strategist, digital producers, digital marketers, developers and other internal stakeholders as required, as well as freelancers and external agencies and production teams as required to provide an efficient and professional service by completing specific tasks to assist with the smooth running of projects. The Digital Coordinator must have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to speak confidently to build rapport and be a good listener.

The post-holder must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 2+ years’ experience in a digital environment, ideally agency side
  • Good awareness of the latest digital trends and the digital landscape
  • Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Exceptional organisation, project management and documentational skills
  • Works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
  • Displays excellent communication skills with co-workers, including the ability to communicate effectively and remain calm and courteous under pressure, while at all times keeping the team in the loop
  • Excellent coordination and organisational skills; anticipates client and team needs and offers to help before being asked
  • Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to maintain the high standards the industry demands

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the Identity digital team in the planning, implementation and delivery of digital projects and services to be provided to clients and delivered internally, including but not limited to:

  • Apps
  • Social Media
  • Websites
  • Games
  • VR & AR
  • Interactive & immersive tech
  • Video
  • Animation

Activities and duties for the above included but are not limited to the following:

  • Hands-on support in the delivery of digital campaigns and content, to include (as required) social media, email newsletters, video, cost per click, CMS and website updates (i.e., WordPress)
  • Content planning and documentation
  • Analysis of key metrics across multiple channels and platforms (including Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, Eventbrite etc as well as proprietary sources)
  • Monitoring, reporting and auditing of digital projects and campaigns
  • Meeting, visiting and liaising with clients (and colleagues as necessary) to record briefs, discuss requirements, develop strategy and gather content for publication
  • Attending internal strategy and planning meetings
  • Data and database management, cleansing and manipulation

Project Management

  • Taking ownership of entire aspects of a digital project and taking responsibility for the completion of tasks in agreement with the project lead
  • Providing regular and clear updates to internal stakeholders
  • Communicating and tracking project milestones and KPIs and monitoring progress for all team members and stakeholders against plan
  • Preparation of project timelines and production schedules
  • Maintaining physical and electronic job bags
  • Obtaining costs from suppliers and ensuring compliance with agreed specification
  • Seeking written signoffs from internal stakeholders, and where applicable, clients
  • Assisting with the management of on-site digital installations (as required)
  • Assisting with the submission of creative briefs and amends for design concepts, technical drawings and graphic specification documents
  • Ensuring billable hours for a project are managed and remain within an agreed budget
  • Maintaining open communication with suppliers, contractors, clients and internal teams

Communication

Establish and maintain good communication and liaison between team leaders and other employees in the Company

Health and Safety

Identity has an obligation under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 to provide safe and healthy working conditions. The Digital Coordinator must ensure that the Health and Safety procedures and processes are maintained in line with the Health and Safety Policy, a copy of which can be found on the Company Intranet. All employees are required to co-operate with management in discharging this responsibility and must take responsible care for the health and safety of themselves and others.

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential

  • GCSE in Maths and English at Grade C or equivalent
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Valid Passport

ATTAINMENTS/COMPETENCIES

Essential

  • Good awareness of the latest digital trends and the digital landscape

Desirable

  • Previous industry experience, i.e., events, digital or marketing agency
