Account Director (Exhibitions)

Due to Identity’s continuing success over recent years, we are now looking to recruit a full-time Account Director to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a diverse and talented team, whilst working in an award-winning office environment. We are looking for someone who has several years of experience in the design and delivery of exhibition stands.

Projects at Identity range from 18 sqm exhibition stands through to 500 sqm double deck exhibition stands; the projects are varied and exciting.

–      Double deck exhibition stands worldwide

–      Showroom/reception fit-outs across Europe

–      Shopping centre activations in the UK

–      TV/film sets in the UK

Candidates must have at least 7 years experience delivering exhibition stands and conferences.

Job Description

It is the Account Directors role to continue our world class customer service.  Heading up the Account Management team, you will be strategic in your planning of how you see the department developing. Your role will involve reporting to the board, working with the Marketing Department, attending client meetings, recording briefs, sharing briefs with the wider team, the coordination of proposals, and providing technical and creative input. There is also a requirement to identify new sales opportunities within existing accounts and cross selling Identity products and services.

The Account Director will be responsible for liaison with the board and the Account Management team. Activities will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Writing the strategy for the Account Management team
  • Senior level client facing input
  • Team management
  • Client visits and meeting potential clients
  • Generating and winning new business in conjunction with the Sales team
  • Manage and resolve conflicts with clients
  • Interact and coordinate with the sales team and other staff members in other departments working on the same account
  • Establish and look after budgets with the client and company
  • Review of team KPIs and provision of appropriate training and support
  • Ensuring clients are contacted on a regular basis and that their needs are anticipated and met by the delivery teams
  • Review and management of client renewal activity, ensuring our market leading renewal rates are maintained or improved
  • Regular contact with client to ensure optimal product performance and provide assistance in their lead nurturing techniques as required.
  • Provision of technical support and assistance throughout the contract life-time
  • Development and maintenance of strong customer relationships via telephone, email and face to face meetings
  • Assistance in the negotiation and management of your client’s contract renewal process
  • Identification and development of new business opportunities within your client base
  • Managing operational and administrative functions to ensure contract administration
